Description
Originally from Sainte-Croix en Plain, the Alsatian Sainte Crucienne brewery first saw the light of day in 2007 during a boozy evening, thanks to a band of idealistic friends eager to create different and very hoppy beers. At the start of their adventure, they started by brewing 20 liters of beers, then 100, then 600. It was not until 2013 that the brewery officially started in its premises in Colmar, in just three years the volume of production has doubled to reach 3000 hl today.
They share this success with a whole community of independent brewers who are part of the Front Hexagonal de Libièration, with whom they continue to work. The goal is to multiply collaborations and unique brews to create an ever more original beer in taste and participate in the revolution of the world of craft beers.

For me, it was a solid ale, well balanced, boozy, aromas of honey, orange peel, malty, floral hop, citrus, spicy, a lot of ingredients giving a tasty ale, perfect before to sleep. 04.04.2021, drinking it at Bonfol, in family.

Bottle 33 cl. Cloudy and almost opaque golden with a rich, smooth and creamy white head leaving some lacework. Discreet fruity nose. Medium body, clean malty and slightly fruity with a faint, finishing bitterness. Very straight Golden Ale - and pretty bland as the style is. 250225

Bottiglia. Arco olfattivo dominato dall'affumicato.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a slightly hazy amber with some floating impurities and a small, creamy, beige head. Discreet banana and clove aroma, but also a discreet hint of phenols. Medium-bodied, slightly caramelly, again faint banana with a discreet tartness - not in an infected way though. Amber style Hefeweizen - not a Wit. 040225
