Description

Bottle from Asao. Nutty, spicy nose, caramel and chocolate, minerals. A bit dull, though. Dark brown with orange tints, fine head. Sweet caramel, nuts, pepper, fruits. Nice, rather interesting and like a dubbel, though the blond was nicer.

Bottle from Asao. Lemony nose, with honey, sweet orange, light spice from the buckwheat. Somewhat tangy as well. Cloudy gold with a tall, fine head. Sweet, thick, rich. Grains and honey, with sweet orange and nicely bitter finish that is a bit spicy and peppery. Nicely tart as well. Body is quite heavy and full. Rather nice, really.

25 cl. bottle @ Bier Central // nice bottle & label, quite like it, the beer on the other hand is pretty terrible // pale golden with a patchy white head // smells like lemon cleaning agents, freaking bad lemonade and alternative grains, spelt I assume, bad as well is sugar and yeast or something // taste is disturbing, feels like I am drinking some cleaning agent, terrible alternative grains, incredibly chemical lemon, it is sweet as well, spices, corn, floral, yeast and some acid in the back // body is supposed to be light but not like an enjoyable way because of the taste, you know. bit less carb. // remainder was drank with tobasco, cut the taste somewhat and made it lightly spicy, too spicy to drink for some but more manageable for me // it is bad

Bottle @ home shared with Thompson. Re-rate of the only beer I’ve ever given a 0.5 score. It had to be hopelessly infected that last time. This time the aroma had red fruits, sweetness, lightly tart and a bit artificial. Taste is a mix of sweetness and red fruits, a bit like cassis lemonade.. Average body and carbonation. Totally different from last time, as you can read below. Previous rating (June 17th 2012) 25cl bottle @ home shared with Thompson. When I took off the cap a part of the glass from the bottle was torn off with it. Best before date did however say November 2012. Hazy orange to amber color, no head at all. Big chunks floating in it. Smell is absolutely ridiculous: pure cleaning acid, vinegar, paint or nailpolish remover. They can’t be serious about this, this has to be infected. No joke: I puked. [1-1-1-1-1=0.5]
