Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours an almost clear orangey brown with a rough, off-white head. Lightly sweet fruit and caramel in the nose. Full-bodied with a heavy carbonation, notes of overripe fruit and some phenols. Finishes dry. 291208

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of KimJohansen. Slightly hazy golden with a lively, rough, off-white head leaving some laces. Aroma of yeast and a little citrus. Medium body with a heavy carbonation, notes of fruit and yeast. Dry finish. 291208

Cloudy golden with a large white head. Aroma was sweet and yeasty with fruity and coriander notes. Flavour was sweet with yeasty, fruity and spicy notes towards the finish.

Hazy deep red with a huge beige head. Aroma was sweet with fruits, caramel and toasted malt. Flavour was sweet and yeasty with caramel and roasted malt. Finished sweet. Not bad.

75 cL bottle. Pours cloudy dark amber to brown with a fizzy off-white head. Dry malty and slight spiced aroma. Sweet malty, subdued caramel and mild fruity flavoured. Mild bitter note into a medium sweet finish. Nice and easy.

75 cL bottle. Pours cloudy and golden yellow with a huge white head. Dry and phenolic and mild malty aroma. Sweet malty, and nice yeasty flavoured. Smooth flavoured of malt and light phenolic into the finish. Light and mild spiced finish. Lovely!

(Draught at Hilpeä Hauki, Helsinki, on 2008-12-13) Pale amber and clear. Medium sized white head that lasts for a moment. Citric and in general fruity aromas and some maltiness in nose. Quite full bodied palate with medium carbonation. Sweetness, citric flavours, more citric flavours, bitterness and hint of saltiness in taste. Sweetm bitter and fruity aftertaste.

Dark brown with thin tan head. Aroma of alcohol and malt. Not much body. Raisins and dates, caramel flavor, sweetish finish.

Good off-white head, over dark copper beer, clear. Typical De Koninck yeast nose, noble hops, caramel, lightly roasted. Sweet-spicy, with playful if not very distinctive hops, surrounding the malts; bit nutty. Slick, even sticky MF, lots of restsugars. Some vanilla retronasal, but also getting a bit empty. Sweet – but I wonder with some lagering? The hopping seems to be OK, the ABV would sustain it, so…

75cl bottle. Pours cloudy amber with a creamy fluffy head & lacings. Lively carbonation. Sweet of yeast & fruits. No "off flavors. Drinkable & well made though very simple!
