On tap 50 cl dimpled mug À la Mort Subite, Bruxelles (where else would you have this?) It pour cloudy white-ish golden, with a thick but short-lived off-white head. Aroma is apricot and peach, peach and apricot. Maybe a hint of bread. Soft, light body. Slightly watery, sour 'n' sweet offset; leading to a bitterless, short-lingering finish. Thirst-quencher at most.

Догоняюсь как два года тому - только тогда случайно зашел, а сейчас зашел специально, да еще и верифид

Appearance: cloudy gold with a good white frothy head. Aroma: peach/apricot, wheat bread. Taste: light to medium sweet, bready and fruity. Apricot. Near to no hop. Mouth feel: medium minus body, average carbonation. Summary: did not dig it.

Clear and transparent intense orange, with one and a half finger of quite dense head. Surprisingly persistent for the style, leaves very nice lacing. Aroma has a quite obvious, soft dough-like base, followed by lactic and citric sour notes, with lemon most evident. Rustic notes are very much in check (barely noticeable actually), but there's a nice mineral feel in the background. Taste notes follow the aroma closely, with an overall balance that leans towards the sweeter end of the stlye. Sourness is actually average per style, but there's more sweetness than usual. Ligh to medium bodied with average or slightly sub-average carbonation, resulting in a quite easy, semi-smooth mouthfeel. Overall: this is an easy take on the gueuze style, a beer with a soft and highly drinkable character. It's not very deep, but it doesn't lack refinement. So, it's actually pretty good at being an easy gueuze. [as mentioned, this was sweeter than style average. Ingredients list mentioned sugar. So, how can it be labeled oude gueuze?. I don't necessarily mind a bit of sugar, just asking]

375ml bottle shared at the Spring DC tasting. Poured a dark, semi-opaque red color with a very small off-white head. Aroma was light cherry skin, tart cherries. Cherry skins. Smooth, sweet cherry. Light tart finish.

Közepes, hófehér tartós hab, opálos borostyán szín. Üde, gyümölcsös, barackos, búzás, kissé lambikos illat. Édeskés, barackos, búzás ízvilág enyhe lambikos és citrusos vonásokkal. Könnyed, mégis a búzákra jellemzően telt karakter, közepesen szénsavas, szinte egyáltalán nem kesernyés. Rendkívül üde, frissítő sör, kiváló egyensújjal és arányokkal.

Clear golden colour with thin head. Compared to other Gueuze this one seems wheatier. Has a sherberty sweet and sour taste. Background notes of grapes and green strawberry.
