Bottle, 4.0%. Citric aroma with a distinct marzipan note. Almost clear deep red colour. Big stable pink head. The flavour is citric and quite sweet. Hint of metal in the finish, but disappears after a while. 636313

On tap at La Mort Subite, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out Lipton's peach ice tea — no point overdescribing this. Flavour is less sugary than expected, with lots of Lipton's peach ice tea. Moderate sugary character. Junky faux lambic nonsense.

On tap at La Mort Subite, pours a clear golden orange, no head. Aroma brings out gentle earthy cardboard and light candi sugar. Flavour is nicely sugary without being cloying, with candi sugar and gentle earthiness. Clean and sugary. Obviously this isn't a work of art, but it's not terrible really. Drinkable sugary booze water.

On tap at La Mort Subite, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is sweet, with orange peel, coriander, and sugar. Flavour is quite sweet, with coriander, orange, and moderate sugar. No funk, just sweet, finishing with coriander and orange. Not a disaster but it ain't good as either a lambic or wit. Not great.

750ml shared with Ryan. Vintage 2012. Served in the amazing wooden basket made, probably, from the wine wooden box. It served that many bottles, apparently, that its handler feels like it's covered by laquer, while it has never been in reality. Appearance: a bit hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: smells like a Belgian Tripel, no funk at all, just some Belgian yeasts, some caramel, and sweet flowers. Taste: low carbonation, mix of lambic funk and tripel. Overall: interesting.

Poured from 750mL bottle (2012 vintage). Lightly hazed gold with small white head. Malty, very feint funk, metallic note, flat no carbonation.

Bottled. Hazy yellowish golden colour with a small white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is wheat, some parfumed soap and mild bananas. Flavour is wheat, banana, some mild wooden tones with a wee bit of bretty kind of dry tones to it. Still more to the sweet side of things.
