Description

Draft @ Tilquin English beer festival, 2015.

Thx! Sampled draft @ Tilquin English Beer Festival 2015. Dark orange, creamy white head. Nose is weirdly sweet & herbal, candy, sugar,… Taste is same weird candy sweet herbal profile, medicinal herbs, sugar, sweet, caramel malts,… Thick malty body. I don’t get this beer or where they were going with this.

Thx! Sampled draft @ Tilquin English Beer Festival 2015. Milky pale golden, creamy white head. Nose is quite impressive to say the least, huge ginger, lemon, peach, lemongrass & exotic fruits, nothing that you would expect from Hallertau – the guy who got it assured us that they did wash the glass properly. Taste is sadly less impressive, muddled by yeast & white sugar sweetness, sweet peach, almost wheat-like creamy body,… Nothing bad but not very expressive & a lot of white sugar sweetness with yeast.
