Description

33cl bottle shared. Thin white head. Lumps in the bottom :-( Cloudy blond pour. Nice bitterness. Good for the ABV, pity about the lumps in the bottom.

330 ml bottle sample at Kjetil’s farewell party. (The label states this as a collaboration brew with Nøgne Ø). Cloudy dark orange body with a nice off-white head. Aroma has mild caramel malt and ripe mango, peach fruit and hint of lavender. Flavor is mild, smooth malt, ripe mango, canned peach, hint of grapefruit and low bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. I don’t find the tea flavor here, maybe fruit tea if something. The fruity, floral description might sound like something really nice, but the ripe factor is too dominating, this beer misses some freshness. Might have been better previously but right now it feels to bland and close to overripe.

Bouteille 750ml. Couleur orange brûlé trouble, mousse beige pâle crémeuse laissant une belle dentelle. Arôme d’ananas, touche d’alcool, malt, papaye. Goût d’ananas mûr, malt, houblon résineux, un peu sucré, papaye, bonne amertume. Carbonatation moyenne, corps moyen-dense.

On tap as the last drink at Haandbryggeriet Beer Festival 2015. Shared with Finn and a few more ratebeerians on the site. Pale yellow body. Filmy lacing head. Sour lemony hops on the nose. Drying taste of lemon and cheese. Short ending. Watered. Not memorable (Drammen 30.05.2015).
