Little cloudy dark brown beer, small aery beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: roasted, very malty, grains, some chlorine. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: roasted, pretty hoppy, bitter, bit sourish, chlorine, hay, malty, some dark chocolate. Aftertaste: roasted, pretty sourish, grains, cow fodder.

Keg at BBF 6, 26/09/14. Murky chestnut brown toilet water with a moderate light beige covering. Nose is light roast, hint of coffee grinds, spice, brown bread. Taste comprises dark fruit notes, red berry pang, caramel, light cocoa rub. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok porter but not a huge amount of depth.

Keg at BBF 6, 26/09/14. Almost clear golden with moderate off white spotting and edgework. Nose is tangy citric zest, straw, lemon peel, faint lime, light acidic notes. Taste comprises much the same, zesty citrics, earthy notes, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a tarte citric rinse. Decent stuff.

Keg at BBF 6, 26/09/14. Lightly hazed golden with a good sized off whtie covering. Nose is juicy citrics, orange squash, apricot, lemon rind, tangerine. Taste comprises citric sherbets, orange pith, mandarin. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a hoppy rinse. Ok offering.

[9/27/14] Draught sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2014 in Bodegraven. Dark reddish brown. Aroma of raspberries and roast. Sweetish-sourish flavor with some roast and lots of raspberries. Medium-bodied. Not bad.

[9/27/14] Draught sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2014 in Bodegraven. As Barbe Rouge Mademoiselle. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of “green” hops, somewhat fruity. Flavor has light sweetness, fruity hops and mild bitterness. Medium-bodied. Refreshing.

Keg at BBF 6, 26/09/14. Clear pale yellow with moderate off white edgeing. Nose is citric peel, on the turn melon, straw, musty, apple core, tarte peach. Taste comprises tarte apple skins, spice, damp hay, lemon rind, citric peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp clean execution. Solid refreshing ’Linner.

Taste comprises tarte blueberry, damp straw, red berry tarte. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok, refreshing enough but a little 1D.

[9/26/14] Draught sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2014 in Bodegraven. Nice red color with light pinkish hues. Lovely aroma, lactic and lemony, with some berries and some funk. Sourish flavor with lemon, some lacto, blueberries and a light medicinal note. Light-bodied. Great and really refreshing.
