Description

Tap @ BBF ’13. Black color. Aroma’s: Roasted malts, a bit fruity, with alcohol and a bit of wood retronasal. Flavor is moderate sweet, roasty, fruity. Strong alcohol feel. Medium bodied. Guess this needs a retry at some point.

Tap at Borefts, 28/09/13. Light black with a good sized tan head. Nose is light roast, pine, grapefruit, cocoa. Taste comprises punchy grapefruit, tropical notes, pine, cocoa, earthy hops. Light to medium in body, fine carbonation, dry bitter hopped finish. Really good stuff for a low ABV CDA. God love CDA’s some folks just don’t rise above !

Tap at Borefts ’13, 28/09/13. Hazed amber with a moderately sized off white head. Nose is grapefruit, grass, bitter orange, light mango. Taste comprises orange pith, grapefruit, grassy, light hop notes, doesn’t deliver as much as the nose but still a treat for 2.5%! Light to medium in body but not at all thin, dry finish with subtle hop bitterness. Great low ABV hoppy affair, right up there with the best.

Borefts 2013 - Toasty, roasty, sweet aroma. Although the texture is a touch thin and watery it has a full flavour. Roasted malts and light liquorice.

Borefts 2013 - Quite a woody, sour aroma. Also quite boozy. Woody, dry taste. Quite fruity and a little sour for a stout.
