Description
Il y a encore quelques années, Michaël Novo construisait des installations chimiques pour un bureau d’études. A la nuit tombée, sa cuisine avait les allures de laboratoire. Il expérimentait des recettes. En 2009, l’idée de créer une brasserie artisanale germe dans sa tête. Un an plus tard, le 1er avril 2010, la Brasserie du Mont Salève ouvre ses portes.

33cl bottle shared at October THT tasting in the Hague. Thin creamy tan head. Clear black pour. A lovely smooth imperial stout. Well done!

Borefts Beer Festival 5. Day 1. As ’Imperial Stout’. Opaque dark brown beer with a small pale tan head. Light dry palate with fine carbonation. Dry dark malts, some spice. Touch of wood. Dry finish. Hides the abv well but bordering on bland.

Borefts Beer Festival 5. Day 1. As ’Double IPA’. Hazy amber beer with a tiny bubbly white head. Light palate, a little dry. Good floral hops with marmalade and a trace of lemon. Light dry finish. Nice!

Malzig bitterer Antrunk, trocken röstig. Minimal und eher unpassend fruchtig, die Malzaromen verwässern mit der Zeit stark. Nicht sonderlich. 12/8/7/7//8

Vollmundig hopfiger, sehr blumiger Antrunk. Leicht fruchtig werdend, spritzig, der Hopfen bleibt weich, Alkohol ist nie erkennbar. Rundes gelungenes Bier. 11/11/12/12//12

Borefts Beer Festival 5. Day 1. Lightly hazy amber beer with a small pale cream coloured head. Light malt, floral sweetness. Touch of toffee. Nice subtle red wine fruits. Light finish with more floral sweetness. Nice beer!

Borefts Beer Festival 5. Day 1. Cloudy brown beer with a residual pale tan head. Light dry palate. Super light dark malts and a little chocolate powder - dry. Light finish. Passes muster, just.
