Draft pour to a tulip at Special Brews. Nice to see The Commons beers still floating around my local. Listed as a traditional lambic. Clearly not fruit heavy. A clean and shiny golden pour. A nice tart aroma, some white grape character. Soft bready front, with a tart constant. Cool, refreshingly tart taste to this. An easy drink. Nice flavor. A nice little surprise to run into today. Really enjoyed this.

On tap at restaurant, Portland, Oregon. The colour is clear straw with a small off-white head. Fruity aroma of phenols, spices, grass, hay and lemon. The flavour mirrors the aroma. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a light bitterness. A fruity and well-balanced saison. Nice one.

Draft pour pint at Special Brews. Since this is most likely the last time I will run into a keg from these guys, i had to give it a go. Walking through Portland a couple weeks back, I was bummed knowing this wasn't an option anymore, especially since I never got the chance to check it off my list. Cheers to these guys. Bourbon Little Brother was one of my more memorable beer experiences, and hope to see more from you guys. A pale golden yellow pour. Oily, rocky head. Aroma reminds me of a gose in a way. Has a lime, sea salt like character to go along with a straw grain. Cool flavor. Bready grains, hint of lime? A good pils here. Refreshing. Different. Good beer here.
