Lots of herbal stuff in the aroma. Nice and grainy, hint of something floral in the taste. Nice saison graininess. Good stuff.

Tap at the brewery. Nice, fruity, bit funky, marzipan, apple, light sourness. Second time from the bottle a few years later. Nice. Really got that black cherry thing going on. Lightly sweet but a little tartness at the end. Sounds like I was rating a different beer last time. Probably was trashed. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cerise Noir on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:03 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 9 | Flavor - 9 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8. Tap at Craftheads. Interesting. Aroma is saison like, grainy, and a bit unusual. Taste has bit of cherry, but cherry drop sweets or cherryade but with a bit of milk chocolate mixed in. Actually that sounds horrible, but it's quite nice. Unthreatening, bit thin. But alright. --- Beer merged from original tick of Urban Noir on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:05 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8. Doesn't taste like a sour to me. Tastes like a Belgian pale ale, strong malt aroma and spicy and fruity taste. Long finish. To tell the truth, I was surprised to find this.

Bomber, shared by Jeff. Pours an unclear, reddish orange color with a small, bubbly, tan head. The aroma is vanilla, tart raspberries, smooth earth and leather, and wet grass. Pretty dry, with a hint of bitterness. Light body, with a slick, kinda astringent mouthfeel. This is a complex and refreshing beer. Nicely done.
