Bottle from Co-op, Addlestone, as Renegade Lager. Malty aroma with a citrus edge. Pale copper gold. Foamy translucent white head thins out. Medium bitter. Quinine edge. Sime sour citrus.Underlying malts add a cardboard element. Light bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. It's OK and befitting from being served straight out of the fridge. But mixture if hops and malts just don't do it for me.

Keg at Prince of Wales, Farnborough. There may be some fruity aroma in there somewhere. Hazy pale gold. No head. Fruity medium sourness. Light-medium bodied. Thin if slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Decent enough. Possibly fruited.

330ml bottle. Gushed a hazy medium to light amber colour with a big frothy white head. A serious gusher in fact and half the bottle was lost due to some serious secondary fermentation. The aroma is toffee caramel malt, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a toffee, resin, light floral hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with very lively carbonation!

Keg at PoW. Have to strain the nose muscles in order to pick up the low key sweet hinting smokiness. Dark and glossy. Cola brown in the light. Creamy beige head. Suroisngly low key in terms of taste, possibly due to its temperature. Light bitter. Gains coffee some bite into the finish. A buzz of smokiness but not particulary evident. Thick bodied. Creamy. Average carbonation. Astringent finish in which the smoke is most evident. Makes me think of a Guinness on keg - nice enough but not overly interesting.

Keg at POW. Light floral aroma with a citrus edge. Light gold. Thin patchy translucent white head. More taste to it than I was expecting! Tangy sour with latent bitterness. Citrus and herbs. Gains more bitterness into the finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Dry finish. Drinkable juicy stuff.
