Cask at Hants Oktoberfest 2019. Fruity aroma. Gold. Bubbly white head. Sweet juicy citrus taste. Light-medium bodied. Abrupt finish. Nice juicy stuff - more than I expected.

[An attractive 44cl can from Waitrose, Bracknell.] An unexpectedly bright straw coloured pour with a loose white head; sweet bready malt aroma; bready malt taste with a touch of citrus; and more of the same to finish. Reminds me of an old fashioned Light Ale, the sort used to add some sparkle to an old fashioned Bitter; but not in a good way. Disappointing- style over substance.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Waitrose. Pours crystal clear gold with a fluffy, pure white head. Exceedingly unspectacular, with leafy hops, a lightly off minerally note, some pale grains, sun-kissed straw, nips of dough. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with a mellow smokey off note, more pale grains, hay. Mediocre overall.

Cask at Southampton Arms. Amber coloured, maybe a little bit red, with off white head of very small bubbles. Aroma is stinky socks and a bit of hoppy bitterness, bit non-descript. Bit of bready malts too. Taste is biscuit malt, bit of a bitter finish. Nothing special for me. --- Beer merged from original tick of Dr Hexters Healer on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. [33cl can from Westholme Stores, Goring.] A bright amber pour with a ring of white head; aroma of damp straw and toffee; bittersweet grainy bosy, with nicely balanced fruity caramel and bitter grains. A good Vienna lager,

[33cl can from Westholme Stored, Goring. BBE 12-2019.] A bright pale amber pour with a fast fading white head; tropical fruit aroma; tropical fruit taste with lots of pineapple and mango, and a medium grainy body. Slightly sticky and sweet to finish.

Fra cask på The Rake, sammen med Steven aug-19: klar strågul med fint skum som varer. Furunål, lychee, grapefrukt og en halv sur citron i en velkalibrert kombinasjon. Very tasty, and crisp as a cracker.
