Medium sweetness and moderate fruity bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Fruity orange finish, with some linger bitterness. Quite decent

[Cask at the Ale House, Reading.] A bright copper pour with a thin beige head; rye aroma; smooth grainy body with a bittersweet taste; and a dry finish. Rather plain and ordinary.

Cask @ Boot Inn, Burnley. Golden with a thin head. It's a sweet golden ale with mild spice evident in both its taste and aroma. Has a lower bitterness.

Handpull cask at the Pint Shop, Birmingham. Dark brown with a hint of ruby, translucent. Christmas cake, cloves, plummy fruit notes in the aroma with a hineof Ovaltine. Sweet taste, washed through with a sweet plummy character. Finish slightly more bitter. Thin body. An astounding mild overall.
