Cask @ Shrewsbury Real Ale Festival 2019, St Mary's Church. Pours very dark, almost black, good biege head. Aroma has light treacle, liquorice, roast. Expected a nice sweet salted caramel character, but received very little. That said, it's still a pleasant mild.

Can shared in London - picked up at Craft Beer Rising. Pours clear gold with a white cream topping. The nose holds pale bread, biscuits, grass, crunchy hay. Light sweet flavour with further dry biscuits, lemon peel, straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Balanced finish, some pithy lemon, yet more straw and biscuits. Fair play.

Keg at PoW, Farnborough. Hazy citrus aroma. Hazy orange-gold. Creamy white head. Initially medium bitter before gaining strength. Sour streak. Marmalade and quinine. Some spice. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Decent enough boozy DIPA. A tad raw.

Keg at Oxford Tavern, Kentish Town. Citrus aroma with a grassy edge. Slightly hazy gold. Creamy white head. Light spur citrus. Low key malts into the finish. Light bodied. Thin. Rescued partly by soft-fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Overly polite and therefore blends into the background somewhat. But not unpleasant.
