Bottle from my brother for Christmas clear gold amber colour lasting off white head. Interesting English yeast after so many other yeasts. Some sweetish malt. Some bitterness on the finish. Some white stone fruit. peach apricot. Good pale ale.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading] A dark chestnut pour with a ring of cream head; rich malty aroma with a hint of spice; smooth grainy body with caramel and biscuity malts; then a dry velvety finish with a lightly earthy bitterness. Rather good.

Can at home picked up from Waitrose. A clear pale gold coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is cereal grains, light eggy note, leafy hop, lager notes. Palate is semi sweet, dry grain husks, frorhy carbonation. Flavour is composed of stale grains, husky, earthy cereal. Thin, plastic, weird cereal character. Bit of a weird one. Some medicinal off note in the finish.

ABV: 4.1%. Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, light to moderate hoppy, fruity hops, fruit - berries (passion fruit - grapefruit - pineapple - mango). Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity hops, pale malt, earthy hops, fruit - berries. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20190730]

Can from Waitrose, Frimley. Herby citrus aroma. Extra pale gold. Foamy white. Medium bitter with a sour edge. Light bodied. Crisp. Average carbonation. Dry finish. Enjoyed this. Wasn't expecting much so fair play. The crisp and dry palate balances well with the herbs and citrus.

Keg @ Pint Shop brum. Pours amber, faint mist, white froth. Piney nose. Taste slots comfortably into the West Coast IPA bracket, plenty of resinous goings on, sticky pine, chewy malt.. flavourful bugger.

500ml bottle. Poured a hazy medium amber with a fizzy, short-lived white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet, with a light, very slightly watery, light fruity, light pepper spice, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Third, gravicask, shared with Finn at the 22nd Oxford Beer & Cider Festival. Bright golden body, shiny naked surface. fragile lacing. Moderate tropical fruity aromas. Taste of peaches and leafy hops, joined by dried fruits towards the finish. Fair enough. (25.10.2019).

Half-pint, 3.8 % abv, cask, shared with Finn at Alehouse. Next to clear amber body, minimal lacing from a filmy layer. Smell of leafy hops and grain. Doug fruity flavours followed by moments of resinous hops towards the finish. Fair enough. (Reading 20.10.2019).
