473mL can, pours a hazy dark cherry amber with a medium pink-tinged beige head. Aroma brings out subtle cherry skins, a touch of sweetness. Flavour is laid back, with dry cherry skins, a light farmhouse character and very low sweetness. Subtle but quite a nice wild character to go along with the subdued tart cherry skins. Solid.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours an opaque cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of sweet lemon and orangey juice. Flavour is along the same lines, drinking like a lemon orange juice, with medium sweetness (for a radler) and light citric tartness. Pleasant and nice on a hot day.

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy orange-blond color. Not too sweet and with the right amount of acidity, light, with delicate beer base. Refreshing. More juice than beer, obviously. But we’ll made.

Draught @ Boxcar. This has decent body and underlying beer character, but the citrus is heavy-handed and a bit clashy. Not sure it meets the poundability test for a summer seasonal radler.

On tap at Strathcona, pours a hazy orange with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out lots of earthiness from the rye, some vegetal character and restrained notice of some hops. Flavour is along the same lines, letting the spicy, earthy rye dominate. Low hop character, with a rather bone dry palate. Simple and drinkable, but unexciting.
