On tap at Belmont Station, pours a clear pinkish amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out light raspberries and dry fruit skins. Flavour is quite tart, with very tart raspberries, some pith and a little lacto. Not particularly well-balanced, but it's decent.

2015 Vintage. Dark pour with little head retention. Very oak and whisky forward. Caramel malty, dark fruits, fig. Medium full bodied. I wish the barrel was an it more restrained since it overpowers the rest of the beer. Still, not bad.

Very intense tangerine and mandarin oranges in the nose with caramel and pink grapefruit sitting passively in the background. The citrus character in the nose is fantastic. The mouth is more like drinking tangerine, grapefruit and caramel juice. Potent. Deep but not overly bitter and much more malt focused in the mouth compared the nose. Love the hop character on this. Great.

Orange. Citrus and light pine with some caramel backbone. Some real light toasted malts. A good bitterness throughout. A very nice and quite drinkable IPA.

Light golden color. Sweet malty. Lots of cereal Malts. Some grassy hops. Not bad and better than the name would initially lead me to believe.

Bottle from Lep Ro Kan market in Moses Lake. Dark brown/black pour, initial giant beige head. Aroma is toast malts and milk chocolate. Taste is sweet and mildly bitter, more chocolate. Body seems a tad watery, but pretty tasty stuff.

Draft pour at Hop and Hound, listed as bourbon aged, and at 8.4%. Dark brown pour with a fading cola fizz head. Bold coffee grounds aroma. Flavor displays minimum bourbon feature for me, but it’s there. Good roasted malt character. Cool finish that takes a stab at being tart. Fun unique porter. Pretty good.

Tap at Watering Hole. Big tart papaya nose that is super fruity and juicy and could be smelled at the next table. Hints of gooseberry and tart apple as well. Quite tart on the palate with low carbonation (just enough to keep it interesting). Light creaminess on the palate. Tart finish. Really great. --- Beer merged from original tick of Papaya Sour on 26 Jun 2016 at 18:38 - Score: 8. Original review text: This is nuts! Big tart papaya nose with gooseberry. Bottle shared. Dark chocolate with some light dark fruit, roasted malt and coffee notes. More of the same on the palate. Simple and straightforward porter. Light but in a good way. --- Beer merged from original tick of Profanity Hill Porter on 19 Jun 2016 at 00:30 - Score: 6
