Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - dark brown to black with a lovely fluffy head. Nose - biscuits, toffee and molasses. Taste - loads of biscuits and burnt toffee. Still searching for the telltale hefe notes. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture and a long dry crunchy finish. Overall - it’s a tasty ESB, can’t find the dark hefeweizen.
