Bottle shared with D&C at the 1st Ipswich bottle share (West Country themed). Pours a very dark brown with a mid sized tan colour head. Aroma of aniseed, roasted chocolate, and toffee. Quite light sweetness, strong roasted bitterness. Medium/full bodied, slick texture, average carbonation. Finish is dry with lasting aniseed.
