Description
The organic brewing project of Gert Jordens, official since 2010 but active as a home brewer since 1999. Originally the beers were made at the Proefbrouwerij but production moved to Anders (and sometimes Strubbe) in 2013. One of the very few Belgian brewing companies which produce only organic beers; hops are exclusively sourced from Joris Cambie's organic hop farm in Poperinge. Exports 22% of its production, primarily to the Netherlands.

Borefts VI. Day 2. ’Craig has blue nipples’ post fest tasting in his room. Light haze on this pale gold beer, good fluffy white head. Airy palate. Mild floralness and light sweetish esters. Dried fruits. Light finish. Okay, bit hollow for it’s abv.

Tasted at one of the Vilvordia Bierproeffestivals and apparently made for the fire department of Hasselt (which also has a gin made for them). Thick cream white head, hazy golden blonde colour. Weakish aroma, bready, green apple, grainy, grassy along with some plastic-like solvents. Dry and fairly neutral taste, restrained fruitiness, minerals, bit grainy with grassy hops in the finish and retronasal ’chemicality’ (rubber). I cannot say I enjoyed this.
