Dark brown pour, small mocha head. Deep aroma of caramel, bread, chocolate, toasted nuts, and some piney resinous hops. Viscous oily mouthfeel, low carb. Loads of pine in the finish, with a nice kick of caramels. Loads of roast, and bitter cocoa. Nice stufff, a great warmer.

Am i the only one who does not see any resemblance to a scotch ale at all?!
Light pale malts, light wood, cherry, and grassy hops. Very light bodied, almost like a lager! Very easy drinking, A little fruity, pleasant.

This is refreshing to see an american brown ale that isnt trying to be an hugely hopped ipa. This is subtle, nutty, and loaded with nice grainy cereal notes. Light bitterness on the finish with more great nuttiness. A solid brown ale.

incredibly dark pour, with a dark mocha head. Aroma of dark roasted almost burnt malts, and some sour cherries! I love that the cherries really come through on this beer! The cherries and their tartness really add a great depth to the thick robust, smokey malts. It finished with a big bold bitterness that really lingers. Great stuff!
