Clear light brown beer. Light dry palate. Dry malt with an odd spicy bubblegum. Finishes very dry. A bit weird.

500ml bottle recommended by the guy at Beer Ritz, Leeds. Near clear, dark brown body. Nice beige-brownish head leaving lacing behind. Smell of chocolate malts. Mid-sweet malts, slightly roasted, in flavour bringing hints of chocolate and coffee. Short malt bitter aftertaste. Fine bodied considering the low abv (room at Bodington Hall,13.07.2010).

Just a bit of haze to a light golden body. No head, but spotty lacework on the glassware. Fresh smell of fruity hops. Malt-fruity taste developing towards notes of leafy and oily hops. Bitter endnotes. Well bodied compared to the low alcohol strength. Cask, half pint enjoyed at the classic English pub called Duck and Drake in Leeds, 11.07.2010.

Taste is very similar, its smoooth, creamy with just a slight tinge of bitterness coming through, Like Glen I rather enjoyed this. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
