Hazy nut brown, good creamy brown head. Honey hoppy nose, trefoil aroma. Well-hopped, medium-bodied. Burned molasses in the finish. Very good balanced real ale with depth in the palate.

Hazy light blond color; creamy head. Non extraordinary aroma, some paper, hop; poor. Ordinary body, strong bitterness, some hop aromas. Simple.

Cask conditioned at the Smithfield, Derby. Golden colour. Lovely citrussy aroma. Complex hoppy, herbal and citrussy flavour. Very good!

(Cask) Dark gold, clear; good creamy head. Overwhelming aroma of noble hops. Superb. Very bitter(ish)-hops. Nears USA-IPA style, with a British hopcharacter even when actually American hops were used! Slight flavour of piecrust, which rounds it off perfectly. Medium bodied, hoppy aftertaste. Brilliant - English cask at its best. And I have Burgundian Babbler Jeremy Gray to thank for the recommendation!

(Cask) Pale gold beer, slight white head. Nose with remarkably flowery bitterness. Taste is like some lemon-scented tea, enriched by hops. Light bodied. Long hops aftertaste. Very nice light bitter.

[Cask at GBBF 2003] A hazy yellow beer with a fine head. It has next to no aroma - only notes of malt. The flavor is smooth and sparckling with a prickling on the tongue. It is rather bitter but not much reminisence of wheat. It is pretty bitter for a wheat beer. An OK beer, but not what I expected.

[Cask at GBBF 2003] A light yellow beer with a creamy but disappearing head. The aroma is sweet and simple. The flavor is sweet and simple too but it ends on a fine bitterness, that turns dry and lingers. A simple but good bitter.

Golden; nose is quite fruity, with a good hop rate; fresh-tasting, fruity (pineapple, blackberry, pear); slight mineral note.

A bit cloudy, light tan. Very fresh, leafy, powdery dry hop aroma. Rich hop bitterness, light berry and fruit overtones. Bready and complex - great breezy malt backbone. Brilliant - and I liked it last time I had it (3.5).
