(Cask at The Bear Paddington, London, 20 Nov 2024) Amber colour with foamy, tan head. Malty, hoppy nose with toast, orange peel and apricots. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of toast, dried apricots, orange peel, pink grapefruit and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Refreshing and well balanced. Nice one.

Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, pineapple, peaches, grass, mixed fruit and a mild citric/peachy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Soft and refreshing. Nice one.

Pint from the tap at Piston Broke, Shoreham-by-Sea. Pours a deep dark amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of grapefruit, apricot, passion fruit, oats, hops & malt. Medium body. Crisp & dry light bitter finish. Highly enjoyable

330ml can from Honest Brew. Cloudy to murky red-brown colour, beige head, some retention. Aroma is malty, caramel, fruity raisin, earth, semi-sweet. Taste is the same, quite dry, mild bitterness. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Good bitter.

Cask at The River Ale House, Greenwich. Deep dark brown pour with a beige head. The River Ale House Nose is dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla, cocoa. Flavours of chocolate cake, creamy coffee, cocoa, raisin. Tasty sweet malty stout.

Draft at Steamworks, Seaford. Poured a murky dark amber colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, floral hops. The flavour is over moderate bitter, with a dry, earthy, herbal, light floral hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
