8/10/2025. Cask at the Fat Cat, Ipswich. Excellent pour. A very drinkable and sessionable bipa which plays all the right bipa notes but at a more modest strength than most. Really good.

Cask pour at Red Lion, where you can enjoy views of the pier from above, in Cromer. Golden-blonde with a small head. Watery-sweet tropical fruit notes available in both aroma and taste, as such it comes across a little understated.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 4th April 2025. Clear copper with shallow foam and scant lacing. Rich and nutty malts in aroma. Tangy fruits, buttery dairy cream and an abundance of nuttiness in-mouth - hazelnut. A complex finish of nutty fruitiness, with bitter touches on the upper palate. Light to medium bodied with a velvet smooth texture. Beautifully crafted.

First drink poured for me in a week spent in Norfolk at the Pier Pavillion Theatre Bar, on the pier, in Cromer. Golden with a creamy-frothy head, is a strong tasting IPA, although fruits of the tropical variety are evident too. These are more stated in taste than aroma.
