Cask@Dark Beer Fest 2025, The Hope, Carshalton (27/11/2025) - new English brewery ✅ with a more balanced malty hoppy affair, some cocoa and roasted malts, hoppy fruity citrus undertones, hoppy and roasted ashy earthy malty finish. Nice one.

7/11/2025. Cask at the 13th Beccles Beer Festival. Festival finisher. Very nice pour. Raspberries very forward, quite sweet and perfumed, quite musty and also had some talcum powder notes. Medium sweetness, moderate sourness. Medium body, very soft carbonation. This didn’t really work for me.

30/10/2025. Cask at Norwich Beer Festival (Castle Social). Beers from the wood. 5 weeks. Great pour. Aroma is woody, musty, dried fruits, chocolate, malt, prune, fruit cake, hints of coconut and liquorice. Medium sweet, lots of woodiness, moderate roasted bitterness. Good body. Very smooth. Wood worked very well with this.

8/10/2025. Cask at the Fat Cat, Ipswich. Excellent pour. A very drinkable and sessionable bipa which plays all the right bipa notes but at a more modest strength than most. Really good.
