Hand-pulled sample in Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, Oakengates on 20th August 2024. Clean and clear light golden body, fluffy white crown. Subtle (bland) fruity nose and taste, no depth of flavours and all a bit 'meh'.

Handpull cask at the Old Horse, Leicester. Mahogany brown and translucent with a large beige head. Malty aroma, a little vinegar...not sure if this is a bad beer or just on the turn. Sweet taste, very malty, a touch of soy sauce. A little unfortunate this one.

Handpull cask at the Old Horse, Leicester. Light amber, clear with a tight off-white head. Light aroma, sourdough yeast, a bit vegetal. Tastes hoppy yet sour and slightly spicy with that weird signature Everards taste. Sour in the finish. Medium body, soft carbonation. Can't get into this at all.

Handpull cask at the Old Horse, Leicester. Light to mid-gold, clear with a frothy white head and lots of lacing. Soapy aroma, a bit of butter, some straw. Bittersweet taste, not quite right, weird sour bready note. Full body for the ABV, no carbonation. Notvthe finest of beers.

Keg draught at the Marquis Wellington, Leicester. Lightish gold, clear with a frothy white head, lots of visible carbonation. Gentle aroma, little bit metallic, some white grape, gooseberry. Sweet taste, nice malt notes, with sharp bitter hop notes. Nice easy sugary grape finish. Nicely carbonated. One of the better Everards I've had.

Half-pint, draught, shared with Finn at The Globe. Creamy beige head, pitch black body, clingy lacing. Quite promising smell of roasted malts, bread-like. Flavoured with toasted malts, with a touch of coffee, earth and distant moments of dark fruits. Roasted, mid-sweet, malt-driven ending. A bit short, but quite alright. (Leicester, 25.03.2024).

Half-pint, draught, shared with Finn at The Globe. Next-to clear golden body, covering white head, dotted spots on the glass. Moderate aromas of cereal malts with a citric scent. Moderate taste of oily hops, some notes of citrus fruit. Soft hop fruity ending. Clean on the swallow. Pretty fair. (Leicester, 25.03.2024).

Keg draught at the Globe, Leicester. Mid-brown, translucent. A small tight khaki head. Roast malt aroma, some coffee grounds. Taste is a bit bitter/sour with more roast malt and a touch of liquorice. Maybe some chocolate in the finish. Light body, soft carbonation. It's all right.
