Handpull cask at the Marquis Wellington under the 'retro' label. Ruby red brown and clear with a small even beige head and lots of lacing. Metal, fruit punch, vinegar in the aroma. More of the same unholy combination in the taste. Acrid finish. Yuckima.

Hand-pulled pint in The Pheasant, Wellington on 9th November 2022. Light golden pour, snow white head. Nice hop profile, Challenger? Not too much citrus like feel, so might be a UK traditional hop. Anyway it was a decent pint.

6.2
Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6

Handpull cask at the Marquis Wellington, Leicester. Light yellow with a hint of chartreuse and a full tightish white head. Citrus candy on the scent, a bit sour like Pixy Stix. Bittersweet taste with a cooked vegetable sour. Slightly harsh bitterness in the finish. Slight body, almost no carbonation. Works less well than many Everards beers.

Handpull cask at the Old Horse, Leicester. Light to mid-gold and clear with a scummy white head and spotty lacing. Nice aroma with the promised lemongrass, some waxy citrus rind, a surprising touch of leather. Sweet taste with the lightest of spicy notes. Bitter finish with tannic notes. Oily body with soft carbonation. One of Everards' better efforts.
