draught at the Royal British Foreign Legion, Hay-on-Wye. Clear yellow colour with a golden glow, small head. Very light-bodied, slightly malty and hoppy with dusty hints. No idea ahy they call it IPA, this is as far away from a real IPA as can be. Nevertheless, a refreshing light beer.

can from Tesco in Pont-y-pŵl. Clear yelow colour with a mid-sized head. Fruity-malty nose. Medium-bodied, malty, slightly hoppy with a fruity touch. Seems to combine typical characteristics of lager with the fruityness of some ales. This combination works out, I liked it.

bottle, Tesco Pont-y-pŵl. Dark bwon colour, small head. Aroma of toffee and roasted malt. Flavours of roasted malt, caramel, toffee and hints of raisins combined with earthy hops in the finish.

Brown with a medium beige head. Aroma had hard roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. Flavour was sweet with hard roasted malt, dark bitter chocolate, coffee and hops. Finished sweet with bittering hops.

Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Brown color, frothy head. Bitter walnuts, caramel and biscuit in the aroma. Malty, buttery biscuity flavor. Nutty with some flowery and earthy bitterness. Caramel. Decent.

Cask@GBBF2009. Pale coppery colour, small white head. Aroma is mild malts, floral hops as well as mild herbal and wooden notes. Flavour is quite much the same. A bit watery.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, light chocolate and liqourice note. Roasted flavoure, smooth and chocolate/liqourice blend. Smooth roasted and breadish dry finish.

Bottle from Tbone, thanks. 4,1% ABV. Deep dark brown color, firm lasting head. Caramel, apple syrup and licorice in the aroma. Thin roasty flavor with apple syrup and caramel. Just a hint of coffee. Tasty mild.

Cask @ Plough, London. Dark amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of toasted malts, some sourness. Flavour of toasted malts, nutty, and caramel. Watery. Mediocre old ale.
