(Cask at GBBF, London, 9 Aug 2007) Golden yellow colour with small white head. Fruity nose with balanced notes of hops, grapefruit and lemon. Fruity taste with notes of grapefruit and grass, balanced hoppy finish with fresh notes of citrus. Rather nice golden ale, with balanced citrussy hops.

Cask-conditioned at The Highbury Vaults, Bristol. Amber coloured with a slight off-white head. Fruity malt aroma followed by a slightly sweet flavour and a dry finish. Ok.

Cask@GBBF2007. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is grassy hops, earth and slight fruits in aroma. Flavour is bitter fruits, grassy and slightly sweet nectary. Refreshing and a bit boring.

Cask@GBBF2007. Dark amber colour, small brown head. Atroma is leather, some caramel, wood and grass. Flavour is wooden, quite dry, hoppy and slightly yeasty. A bit boring. 6 4 6 3 12
Bottled@Teerenpeli, Tampere. (4.1%). Very deep brownish amber colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is rye and mild roast. Flavour is smoked wood, roasted malts with a slightly vegetably edge. Ashy and grassy finish. Very richly carbonated. Didn’t seem that bottle conditioned to me... 7 4 7 3 14.

Cask at The Barony, Edinburgh. Bronze colour. Sweet and medium bodied. Fruity and streamlined with notes of winegum. Salty finish with low bitterness.

Cask conditioned at The Barony Bar, Edinburgh. Got my half pint for free, as this was the end of the cask. Still quite drinkable! Golden coloured beer, creamy head. Very nice aroma of zesty and citrussy hops, notes of tropical fruits. The flavour is also quite fruity (with a hint of alcohol), moderate bitterness.

500ml bottle from Asda, Cardiff. A deep straw coloured body with a loose white head; quite heavy carbonation; intense aroma of hops; strong hop flavours as well; and a clean dry finish with a trace of honey.

Bottle. Pours a near black colour with a strong tan head. aroma of roasted coffee, dark chocolate and dried fruit. Smooth and light in the mouth, the flavours were of coffee and liquorice with a dry finish. Good.
