On tap at Loyal Legion - PDX, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of rich peanut butter — like I’m smelling a PB sandwich. Flavour has plenty of peanut butter, with a hint of brown sugars, but no notice of the cinnamon. More obscured than the nose suggested. Pleasant enough.

On tap at Loyal Legion - PDX, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of cinnamon, cinnamon sugar, and some toasted malt — yep, smells like a churro. Flavour follows through, with tons of icing sugar, cinnamon, and a little cocoa. Sturdy base malts that give way to the cinnamon. Damn nicely done.

On tap at Uber Tavern, pours a clear golden blonde with a small medium white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, gentle dankness, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is piney and oily, with piney hops, oily resins, and a light dry biscuity malty. Well-balanced with a good hop expression but there are clearly better IPAs out there.

On tap at Bottleworks, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is wonderfully hop expressive, with white wine tang, dank hops, pine, and light citrus. Flavour is cohesive in hop expresion, with white wine tang, pine, some resinous hop oils, and just enough malt backing. Piney, oily, and wonderfully balanced. Wonderful.

From tap at BeerTemple. Amsterdam. Aroma is dark malt, coffee, bit creamy, cocoa, roast, and some dark chocolate. Moderate sweet and medium bitter flavour. Body is above medium. Not the world’s heaviest Stout, but definitely enjoyable. --- Rerate: Can from a supermarket in Oregon. Much better than the draft. Getting some nice fruity hops now as well with notes of citrus and pine. Nice well-rounded hopped roasty chocolate Stout.
