Lots of hops in the aroma. Flavor is surprisingly and disappointingly light. A few spices, and fairly thirst quenching. I thought it was a saison. Cloudy gold color. Very dry, organic finish.

Draft. Mahogony beer with an off-white head. Low tart aroma. light caramel, light tartness with some berry fruit and yeast. Lingering tartness. Medium body. I also got the funk in this one and it was good. It wasn’t at all what I was expecting, but once into it, it was good, not over powering, but light tartness makes up the majot component..

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 3 March 2007) Dark amber colour, slightly cloudy, with brief white head. Very spicy, fruity nose with citrus and yeasty notes. Fruity, spicy taste with notes of yeast, orange peel, grapefruit, clove and lots of spicy hops in a long finish. Lovely! (7/3/8/4/16=3.8) Rerate: (Bottle, 29 Jan 2016) Golden amber colour, cloudy, with frothy white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of orange, ginger, lemon peel, coriander and honey. Malty, spicy taste with orange, ginger, honey, coriander, lemon peel and a balanced grassy/floral bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Solid and well made tripel, quite spicy and complex. Very nice.

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Cloudy golden, minimal head. Peculiar yeasty cranberry aroma. Fairly sweet with some vanilla and mustard as well as almonds. Mild and rather malty, grassy hops stay in the background while yeast induced flavours dominate. A very individualistic, complex, or even complicated, beer.

Bottle, 7.2%. OK sweet, malty aroma. Muddy orange colour. Big, stable light brown head. Sweetish flavour with some citric notes. Good, but I had hoped for more from Rulles.
