Orange beer, clear; slim orangeish head. Grapey and grapefruit hops, vanilla, some piney wafts. Very bitter though fruity onslaught, a bit harsh, but mellowing out by some malts, shortbread-like. Unfortunately, a harsh resiny tang keeps hanging aroung, ending walnutpeel-like. Medium bodied, burning sensation. Too harsh, too much hopgift for its malt backing. Nose is very nice, however, more’s the pity.

Light amber color with slight lacing, never really working up a decent head - slight floral hops in the aroma, with caramel and doughy, cookie-like smells - spicy and hoppy up front, melting into caramel malt that can’t sustain itself through the thin body of this ale - finishes like an IPA, with not much of the maltiness hanging around - some spice lingers, a slight gingerbready flavor - a drinkable though not entirely balanced offering, and not really hefty enough to be a winter brew.

Deep amber color with a huge creamy eggshell white head that sticks around for the whole glass. The aroma smells like freshly picked hop cones crushed in the hand! The flavor runs just on the bitter side with enough malt to keep this between the lines. Hop Heads only for this one.

Bottled Clear pale amber, Appley nose. Clean and lightly caramelly. Somewhat sharp and fairly hoppy, but most of all tremendously average...

This IPA just hit town and it’s already a hit with me.
I like the hop character in this one; it’s got that certain" twang" and the body is pretty heavy for the style. Yum.

Best regards,
Bill

A dark ipa. Aroma of fruit and hops. The flavor is full of fruit goodness, with of course more hops. A great floral taste.

This beer is a dark brown color with a ruby tint. Thin light beige head and light lacing. The scent is lightly malty, along with a little coffee. Medium-bodied with mild roasted coffee, malt and burnt chocolate flavors. No flavor really stands out more than any other, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The finish is lightly smoky with a bitter character. Overall this Porter doesn’t really distinguish itself in the field, either as especially good or especially bad. It’s just kind of...there.
