Pours like a lager, clean and crisp and clear, light head. Light hop aroma. Initial taste smacks of grains, but hops come in on the finish, and dries it out. This is a great session beer and would be great on a hot day.

Bottle from Bine & Vine. Pours light gold with a creamy/foamy white head. Aroma is somewhat earthy with very light caramel. Med minus body. Flavor is sort of resin/earthy with very light malt support. Drinks ok. It’s dry, and finishes bitter. Bitter!

It pours a pale yellow with a 1" head of foam that shrinks pretty quickly but doesn’t leave the scene totally. There’s some good lacing left behind.
The nose is very nice. Lots of pine, some grass and citrus, a bit of grain.
The taste is not as up front as the smell but it’s still tasty with the notes I mentioned above with the grain playing a bigger part though I think, the hoppy goodness still stands its ground.
Not too shabby a body considering the low abv. It does get a touch watery at the very end.
I like this US defined session beer. There’s enough good flavour there to satisfy my palate.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance has a golden orange colored body that gave a one finger white foamy spotty head that lasted for a good half minute before slowly dieing into the body. Some nice speckled yet spotty lacing appeared and slowly slid into the body. No carbonation was seen rising in the beer.
The smell has a strong floral and citrusy aroma to it with some slight maltiness trying to come out, but mostly staying subdued.
The taste took these flavorings with a slight bitterness.
The palate is about a medium with a decent balance between wet and dry on the tongue. This is a fairly sessionable beer.
Overall, I’d be happy to buy this again.

2012 Bottle from a generous trader awhile back. Pours reddish amber with off white head. Nose and taste of caramel, toffee, honey, vanilla, sherry oxidation, bourbon and oak. Full bodied. Well balanced.

Aroma: The nose is grains and wheat, some citrus, mild spice, and some herbal notes
Appearance: It pours a gold-orange color with a frothy off-white head on it
Flavor: The taste is light malty and wheaty sweetness, mild lemon, light herbal and spice hop notes
Palate: The body is light-medium, a bit thin, with a slightly fizzy feel
Overall Impression: I wasn't all that impressed. This beers a little dull and just not that intriguing to drink.

Poured from 355mL bottle. Clear, copper brown with off white head. Aroma of very bready malt mixed with some caramel malt and citrus and floral hops. Taste starts with just a mild malty sweetness, followed by a slight bland wateriness and finally and dry resiny finish. Medium body. Could use a little more complexity and boldness.

Light somewhat green stamp upper left corner of the label \"032014.\" I’m assuming that’s best by date, ok, no worries, here goes.
The appearance is mostly clear amber/red colored body with a one fingered white foamy head that dies within almost a minute. It manages a nice amount of foamy somewhat sticky lacing.
The smell has a mostly soapy caramel nuttiness about it with a cardboard grassy note to it.
The taste is mainly sweet with some caramel kinda crackery malt to it. The aftertaste is super crackery maltiness with a very dry finish.
On the palate, she sits about a light to medium on the body, and comes across mostly sessionable. Carbonation comes across fairly smooth and is decent for the style and for me.

Deep and dark, semi sweet chocolate and roast grains. Thick brown foamy head. Aroma is soft and sweet, taste brings the bitterness, and lingers on the palate, like melted chocolate. A keeper.
