12oz botle pours a clear orange with some lacing, white head. Nose is nice, some cracker, some rye, some orange, bread crust, mild soap, some herbs. Flavor is good, sweet malt, honey, orange, pine sap, soap, mild herb, some spruce. Mostly clean, herbal finish. Not bad.

12oz bottle via trade. Pours a totally clear orange with some thin, white head. Nose is interesting, there is a little bit of garbage, sort of over ripened fruit, but that said, it could be an older bottle because the other aromas are grass, lemon, some persimmon, a hint of cedar. Flavor is sweet, the fruitiness of the weizen yeast comes out, some candy, orange peel, lemon peel, light soap. Medium bodied, refreshing finish. I’m sure this reads all over the place, as was the beer, but the whole was greater than the sum of it’s parts.

Growler bought at Liquor Shed.
It pours a hazy honey colour with a small head of foam that shrinks quickly to a fine layer; not much lacing.
Big sweetness in the smell that reminds me of candi sugar. Slightly fruit aroma as well with no bitterness that I can tell.
A nice moderate flavour of wheat followed by big sweet notes that stop just short of being cloying. A hint or 2 of vanilla with some rather earthy notes. A pretty big alcohol presence rounds out this rather tasty sipper of a Wheat Wine. Nice.

The appearance is semi-clear/somewhat hazy looking golden brown colored body with a two finger white foamy head that lasts for about thirty seconds; once the head starts to die, somewhat thick spider web lacing clings to the sides of the glass; carbonation is seen rising at a moderate pace; the smell is slightly bitter with the hops combined with some English malts, more sweetness comes out as it warms; the taste is mainly sweet, but an English sort of bitter arrangement of hops try to come out; malty aftertaste, quick dry malty English finish; its fairly light on the palate and the carbonation comes across fairly smooth for the most part; overall, good English pale ale that I might come back to and would most likely be nice next to my grill

Bottle. A- Spices, citrus, herbs. A- Golden color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Medium bitterness, earthy, herbs, spices, subtle citrus tones. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, spicy finish. O- Not my favorite saison, but not bad. Has some good complexity to it.

Draft. A- Chocolate, molasses, caramel. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, white head. T- Slightly malty, chocolate tones, mild sweetness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish. O- A good brown ale. The sweetness is just about right.

Bottle received in trade. Thank you KingCecil! Pours black with a rather small fizzy mocha head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is slightly sweet and malty with roasted malts, charred wood, oatmeal cookies, bitter chocolate, bourbon, vanilla fudge, pecan nuts, alcohol, coffee hard candy, toffee, sherry and hints of schwarzwald cake and burnt sugar. Taste is slightly sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, dark roast coffee, charred wood, sweet dark bread, bourbon, vanilla fudge, bitter chocolate, black pepper corns, sweet liquorice candy, sherry, mineral rich soil, St Johns wort, and hints of alcohol. Mouthfeel is round, tiny boozy, tiny roasted astringent and medium to full bodied. finish is bitter with roasted malts, bitter chocoalte, dark roast coffee, vanilla fudge, bourbon, mineral rich soil, biscuits, black pepper corns, alcohol and sherry.
