500ml bottle from Lidl. Why do British brewers pasteurise? I can smell it a mile off. The promise of empty malts and boiled sweets. Some hop on the aroma. Its a dull bitter due to all life being boiled out of it. Some hop bite on the finish. Just so boring. Some Banks yeast.

Nitrokeg at the Habberley Social Club, Kidderminster. Pours An extremely dark brown with a large tan head. Aroma was coffee, a bot faint. Taste started with some coffee and watery chocolate in the finish. Thin in the mouth but it is low strength. Just a note, this is a different beer to Banksโ€™s Mild, which should be rated under Banksโ€™s Original.

Bottle. Amber beer with a fairly strong head. The aroma is weakly toffee and hopped, and the flavour is bitter, hopped and toffee roasted with a watery element. Overall a reasonable hopped toffee flavoured bitter beer.

Cask handpull at The Pheasant Ashford. Its crazy that I have not rated this. Deep reddish amber clear with thick cream head from the sparkler. Some sulphur and soft malts on the aroma. Some hard toffee in the mouth. Soft on the swallow with a bit more toffee an yeast on the very lasting finish. It hangs around in your mouth longer than you would expect. But its a light mild not a bitter
