Description
Created in 2003 by Christophe and Alexia Noyon, the Brasserie Artisanale des 2 Caps, when it started, had a dual vocation: that of giving a new economic dimension to the small family farm to make it sustainable and that of maintaining the remarkable built heritage, that constitutes the Ferme de Belle Dalle.

Thanks to the work and passion of the men and women who compose it, it now has real know-how, which has been rewarded multiple times in competitions. Over the years, the quality and finesse of its beers have attracted a growing number of palates in search of authenticity.

Very hazy orange beer, short lived white head. Sweet malt and dried orange nose. Light semi crisp palate, turning softer. Sweet malt, a little nutty. Semi sweet orange with subtle dried apricot and peach. Minerals. Dry finish - prickly carbonation. Well joined up and drinkable. Went great with assorted cheeses!

33cl bottle @ home shared with Joes thanks to my mum and dad bringing this from holiday. Clear yellow to golden color, medium sized a bit soapy white to off-white head. Smell malts, some sweetness, lightly some flowers. Taste malts, a slight touch of herbs, flowers again and maybe even a slight fruityness. Again a quite nice beer from this brewery. A bit high carbonated, medium body.

Medium offwhite head. Hazy amber body with carbonation. Wooden vanilla and cheese aroma with raspberry notes. Dryish spicy seedes of paradise, caramel and sugary malts taste with buttery grassy spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, buttery mouthfeel. Dryish spicy buttery vinous honey aftertaste with caramelly herbal notes. Nice, interesting, and unusual. (0.75l bottle, from Kihoskh, Copenhagen, last year.)

"ete2007 Le jardin de belle dalle" Bottle from kihoskh, cloudy orange with loads of yeast particles. Small slightly offwhite head. Was also a "time delayed forever gushing no matter how much you pour volcanic gusher" so perhaps the gushing stirred things up in there. Aroma of oranges, old hops, cardboard, yeast. cellary notes. mouldy notes. Flavor is yeast, licorice, sweet malts, spices, belgian, but with a licorice and peppery touch, could be a strange infection or could be just belgian style yeasts tasting weird. Qute complex, very nice fruity notes and honey/flowery notes hidden inside the yeasty spicy stuff. Everything said a well tasting and complex tripel.
