Bottle. Had three times now, but somehow seem to have very few notes still. Aroma is big bourbon, taste is great, chocolate, caramel, some milkiness. Good stuff.

Tap at Gremlin. Strong sourness, but nice enough. Quite fruity, grapefruit, gooseberry, lemon. Refreshing. Very teeth coating. Bit of lemon sherbert. Fairly low carbonation but the prickle really helps give it some life. Aroma is a little stinky and it's really really cloudy and murky.

Tap at Mikkeller Tokyo. Quite full on taste. Feels like a double IPA to me. Aroma is caramel, pine. Taste is good. Kind of like a US DIPA with a British feel. Hoppiness and caramel say US, but low carbonation feels like classic AJB. Lots of caramel, some minerals. Lightly prickly. Pretty good. But was much too expensive. Are their prices creeping up? Bit worrying that it was more expensive because it was 'rare'. Gets very malty at the end. Interesting.

Bottle. Nice, aroma is milky chocolate and raspberry, plus some weird wheatiness, I guess the soba. I like it.

Bottle. Smells a bit like Rodenbach, Oud Bruin fruitiness. Taste is interesting, fruity with almost a bit of sweetness. Belgian type interestingness. Not at all sour. Nice. Can see the Orval thing Will was saying. Dry. Much better than number 1.

Bottle. Aroma is wood, bourbon, cinnamon, dark fruit. Low carb, Xmas pudding, light booze, fruity, little sweetness, Belgian feel. It's nice, but not wildly exciting.

I drank this a bit old (late Aug and made in late April), but still I thought it was a very approachable Black IPA. The nose shows toffee, citrus and pine with light roasted malt character. Modest roasty mouth with modest bitterness. Nothing sticks out too much, but enjoyable beer.

Still ugly brown color. Interesting nose of spelt, rye and bread. The nose has some interesting notes. The palate is too flat for the style, but show a touch of lemon and bread notes. This won't be to everyone's liking, but I thought it was decent.

AJB King King Knee Drop BA Ichiro’s malt Imperial Stout 9.5% Deep matte black with a wispy tan head. The aroma is rich and welcoming smokey malt. Smooth velvety silky full body with a whiskey rich chocolatey smokey flavor. Really very nice. Ap 4 Ar 8 t 8 p 4 o 14-5

Tap at Bungalow. Supposedly made with bread from a nearby bakery. Nose is lemon, white bread, a bit of esters, and a touch of dough. Cloudy pale gold with lace. Bready flavor, lemony, rich keller bier-like malt character. interesting.
