Can. Gold with a small white head. Shy grapefruit aroma with some peach and very light biscuit. Fizzy. Just skates past watery with a light biscuity presence. Even gentler citrus than suggested by the aroma. Some peach. Low bitterness. A bit vapid.

(Tap) Clear amber, tiny white head. Aroma is interesting and complex - stewed pears, woody hints. Medium body with fine carbonation giving good mouthfeel. Interesting and complex taste. It’s sour but not very. There’s stewed pears again. Something interestingly creamy. Hints of spice, maybe cinnamon and cardamom. Can’t say I would know there is salt other than I know it’s a gose. Unusual, interesting and enjoyable drinking.

Straw, boiled lollies. Horrible. Need something else to wash the taste out of my mouth.

Can. Clear amber with a cm of white head that crackles away audibly. Funky, fruity aroma - old pears, new hide?, dried lime - with light smoke and brine. So it tastes. Barely sour, less salty than suggested by the aroma. Oak comes through at the end, some chili with it. Moderately sweet, although it's hard to tell. Interesting.

375ml can from BWS, Kingsgrove. Hazy pale yellow colour, short-lived white head and aroma of apple, pulpy. Taste is sweet, apple, fruity, citric, with some light acidity. Medium bodied, light carbonation, sweet finish. OK.

750ml bottle bought from the brewery in 2019 and shared in Kuala Lumpur on New Years Eve 2023! Poured a mostly clear golden colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is yeasty, light toffee caramel. The flavour is over moderate sweet, with a light, crisp, toffee, light acidic, bready, apple, sweet honey palate. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation.

Can. Just misted pale gold with a white head that's soon a coat. Fresh light grainy aroma with hints of floral hops. So it tastes, but it's pretty watery. Low bitterness.

375ml into glass. From BWS, Glen Innes. Pours a hazy yellow. High carbonation. Zero head. Tart apple nose, hint of malt/crumble. Refreshing, cleansing. Good body. Lots of apple, not too much acidity or fizz. really easy drinking. Excellent commercial cider, hints of sweet apple crumble really nail it for me.

12oz can from Ratman. I wish I’d found this when I was in Sydney last November! Nose is toffee, cognac, with hints of vanilla. Brown with a heavy lacing tan head. Flavor is slightly sweet vanilla caramels and a hint of cognac.

Can. Almost clear amber with a good cm of white head. 3+ Aroma of citrus, some breadcrust, hints of herbs and tropical fruit. Lightish bodied, highish carbonation. Crackers with just a touch of breadcrust, lots of citrus, some resin, moderate bitterness - but it's dry enough that it snaps. Pretty good.
