Bottle from a trade with phaleslu. Pours cola brown color with tan head. Chocolaty and nutty aromas. Toasted malts and chocolate flavors with some nuttiness. Medium body with average carbonation. Thanks Peter.

bottle, pours light gold, tall white head. Aroma is grassy with lots of fresh strawberry coming through. Flavor is thin hay and biscuit malts with again sweet strawberry jam in the finish.

Bottle labeled as Mardi Gras Bock. Pours a clear gold/orange with a pretty decent head that spills over the sides of the glass and causes a little cussing before cleanup. Aromas are sweet and doughy, with little evidence of a heavy hops presence. Flavor is a little syrupy sweet... lots of honey and dough, a little bit of a herbal presence, some fruit (pears) and a hint of abv.

Bottled@The 1st Vaasa CS/ES beer session (thanks ER!). Yellowish golden colour with mediumsized creamy white head. Aroma is strong fruity and floral hops along with mild caramel malts as well. Flavour is fruity, grassy, floral and slightly bready malts. Pleasant, but nothing extraordinary.

Rejoice, another Abita beer. So this is is supposed to put one in the festive mood of mardi gras? Pours a clear amberish, white head. Aroma, pale malts, hops and a sweet doughy malt nose as the beer warms up a bit. Flavor, bitter/grassy hops, light caramel and mild toasted malt flavors, cardboard mouthfeel that is one dimensional except for the faint touch of doughy palate.

Bottled@Monks Café Sveavägen, Stockholm. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is quite much cooked vegetables along with some mild fruits and bready malts. Flavour is saltwatery along with cooked vegetables, mild fruits and rather bread malts. Not very pleasant...

Bottled@Monks Café Sveavägen, Stockholm. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, grass, earth, wood and some mild notes of nectar. Flavour is quite much the same in a nice balanced way. Not too radical.

Sampled on draft at D’s in Monroeville PA this beer poured a dark golden color with a medium sized soapy white head. The aroma was sweet, tangy, grape and pear. The flavor was tangy and sweet with notes of candied pear and table sugar. The finish was long, tangy and sweet. Full body. Simple but quite tasty.

bottle, pours light amber, tall frothy tan head. Aroma is carmel and sweet malts with some booze. Flavor is rich with a metallic carmel maltyness that is sweet throughout with a light bready finish.

From tap at Elixir. Pours cloudy dark orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild breadish malty. Malty and light breadish base flavour. Subdued hops presence. Dry caramelish to breadish finish. Smooth mouthfeel and malty flavoured finish too.
