Bottle at ash’s. Pours black, nose is dark chocolate, toffee, light funk, taste is sweet toffee, chocolate, bitter, coffee, light smoke.

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb and Stuu666. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, tar, faint smoke. I’m getting wood, as is everyone else. Chocolate dominates though. Taste is more cocoa, toffee. Like one of those toffee and chocolate bars you get these days. If anything a touch thin, but otherwise very nice.

Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - gorgeous milk chocolate. Getting wood! Taste - luscious chocolate and toffee too this time. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy tangy texture and a long dry but elegant finish. Overall - lovely beer.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham, consumed at whilst making a Spag’ Bol’, Wednesday 4th May 2016 Amber in colour with a white to off-white head. Hoppy nose, a soft metallic and mineral edge also. Fruity in the mouth with a touch of zippy orange but the lager elements also in evidence as I get the metallic tinge in mouth also. Nice hoppiness throughout, good beer. A7 A3 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bottle, left at my place my Maekchu. Had to drink it. Lemony nose, coriander, wheat. A bit candy-ish. Something like ginger in there too. Hazy gold with a low, fine head. Not all that sweet but malty, lots of coriander, lemon / orange. Decent enough. Not really exciting for a wit, but few are.

Bottle. Grass, herbal hops and honey malt in the nose. Nicely hopped, light malts, a bit sweet and oily. Nice enough.

Bottle. Minerally nose, caramel, grass, some citrus. Red-orange color, clear, with lace. Light flavor, ok malt, caramel, ok hops with a bit of spice reminiscent of rye. Ok.

500ml bottle. Quasi black colour with huge, thick, frothy, mostly lasting, moderately lacing, beige to tan head. Roasty dark malty and piney, resinous and slightly citrusy hoppy aroma, fruity notes of grapes and blackberries, underlying hints of dark chocolate and coffee, an earthy touch of coniferes. Taste is bitter hoppy, slightly bitter roasty dark malty, fruity hoppy notes of white grapes intermix with rudimentary remnant sweetness, a resinous touch of tropical fruit goes along; not fully free from chalky and metallic innuendos.
