Description
The Birrificio Rurale was born in 2009 from the idea of five beer enthusiasts who wanted to find the agricultural origins of beer in an area with a strong rural vocation. in mid-2012 we started planning to move. At the beginning of 2013, we started production in our new brewery, after more than three years of work and gaining experience, we decided to continue on our path by moving to a place that would allow us to manage the growing demand with greater control. Definitely less romantic than the previous premises, the new headquarters in Desio is much more functional and will allow us to offer you an increasingly constant and quality product.

Tap @ In de Wildeman, medium sample. I now see it’s supposed to be an american pale ale, but it’s typical of lots of Italian brewers, that they dont produce clean beers. Same with this, yesterday I thought of this as a nice saison, with flowery hops, peppery yeast and soft bitter finish. I don’t hope they really think this is an APA. -0.5 for style.

250 ml. draft @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontenais. Hazy pale yellow, big creamy white head. Nose is mellow, light sugar, yeast, mellow grass hops. Taste is sweetish egg-yolk yeast, white sugar, hay, light hay, touch candy, light grass. It isn’t very expressive, I would have like it to be dry-ier with more hops but it driks nicely & it is an enjoyable and good beer all the same. Body is touch yeasty but not in a heavy way. Drinks easily, pleasant pilsner for sure.
