Description
The Birrificio Rurale was born in 2009 from the idea of five beer enthusiasts who wanted to find the agricultural origins of beer in an area with a strong rural vocation. in mid-2012 we started planning to move. At the beginning of 2013, we started production in our new brewery, after more than three years of work and gaining experience, we decided to continue on our path by moving to a place that would allow us to manage the growing demand with greater control. Definitely less romantic than the previous premises, the new headquarters in Desio is much more functional and will allow us to offer you an increasingly constant and quality product.

On tap @Buskers Pub (Rome). Pours light amber with a white head. Aroma of bread, cereals, light biscuit, alcol, some hops presence. Flavour is light sweet with a decent bitter end. Medium body, medium carbonation. Not in style, so so...

Bottle from gbbf 2015 and drunk at home. Hazy dirty amber colour lasting cream head. perfumed hop dipa. Quite light and agile. Something not quite right with the malt but the hops are quite bitter and dance along merrily. Hides abv well. Entertainment if not the top quality.

Draught @ Hoppy Days. Dark red-brown color with a small off-white to beige head. Smell and taste malts, some hops, lightly sweetish, slightly bitter, some caramel. Average body and carbonation. Meh. Not a black IPA at all. Wrong keg maybe?

250 ml. draft @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Golden, big creamy white head. Nose is mellow blue cheese, faint dank, quite hoppy, light bread,… Taste is amazing blue cheese & hop mixed with light creamy apple, caramel, light yeast,… Light & touch caramel body. I love beers that tastes of blue cheese & this one is no exception. I usually associate that flavor profile with Sorachi Ace but it doesn’t always come across like that depending on style etc. A few other hops seem to be capable of doing the same. Anyway I absolutely adored this.
