Hazy, pale amber. Big fluffy head. The hop aroma is spicy, some grapefruit, I appreciate the centennial influence here. Light body and low bitterness. The hops are a bit understated, really. Fluffy sweet pale malt, but where's the grapefruit? Promises more in the nose than the palate delivers - always a risky proposition structurally.

Nice clear brown body and very good cash foam. Aroma is mellow biscuit and caramel, slightly sweet. Taste is nice caramelly biscuit, soft cracker, ending warm and smooth. Very nice, well executed.

Clear medium brown body and okay foam. Aroma is great barrel funk, some slight tart grain. Taste is very nice tart barrel, good grain, I wouldn't say bourbon though. Sadly it's all dragged down by lingering dog hair and steel wool. Some nice elements but this needs work.

Clear gold body and some modest foam. Smells of soft hoppiness, slightly sweet. Taste is nice dank hops, sweet with slight bitter vegetal notes. Ends crisp, oily in the right way, some lingering grain. nicely executed.

Poured from the tap at Coquitlam Legion. Near clear gold with white head. Wheat and biscuit malt with very mild hopping. Really basic, but fine.

473ml can. Pours a clear gold-amber with a thin, foamy, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Aroma is dominated by coffee with mild caramel malt. Sweet flavour of toasted caramel malt, bread and coffee in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery to oily texture and average carbonation. Pretty one dimensional, but ok.

473ml can. Pours an opaque dark brown, almost black with a medium, foamy, short lived, tan head that leaves spotty lacing. Semi-sweet aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, earth and coffee. Semi-sweet flavour of roasted malt, mild dark chocolate and day-old coffee in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a thin, watery texture and soft carbonation. Disappointing, the “copious amounts of chocolate” was too subtle and the body was too thin for the style.

Weak brown body with no foam. Aroma is nice motor oil, a bit too sweet. Taste is soft sweet molasses and vague bitter coffee, finishes full. Kind of weak for a stout like this in what it delivers.
