0.375 l bottle from 'Huis van de Geuze', best before August 2043, probably bottled one year ago. Hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, sourish, rather funky and quite fruity aroma overripe lemon, leather, oak, horse blanket, gooseberry, apple and white pepper. A little sweetish, quite sour, rather funky and quite fruity taste of overripe lemon, red wine, gooseberry, leather, oak, white pepper, apple, hay, horse blanket and hints of vinegar, followed by a medium long, fairly tart, gently woody-dry finish. Medium body, quite astringent and rather effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Fairly sharp and intense Geuze with a minor but unpleasant vinegary touch. Other than that fairly complex and refreshing, something for a hot summer day.

Bottle from être gourmet. Hazy blond colour, thin layer of foam. Fruity geuze, lots of citrus, wood, acidic. Not very complex

Very dense, irregular, cream-coloured head over very lively carbonated pinkish copper-orange beer. Brettanomyces, vinous, pink fruit, lambic-y. Preserved orange on lambic & winemost. Orangepeel, grapeskins, liqueurish. Quite good carbonation, bit chewy/oily. Faint alcoholimpression, even idea of fusels. We're curious about how this beer was achieved. Top fermenting beer in used lambic casks? Mixed fermentation before barreling? Other? Intruiging. Txs to Stef!

330ml bottle at home, on the day Sophie became British! Pours a misty gold, overly large white head. High carbonation. Sweet bretty nose. Very sweet to taste, very sugary, high carb, sweet brett and some alcohol coming through. Expected a little more fruitiness to emerge, but overall very bretty sweet. Ok.

Flaska från Etre Gourmet. Disig gyllengul vätska med högt skum. Läs Alengrins recension. Sammanfattar det så väl. Vill särskilt lyfta fram de nästan övermogna äpplena och den träiga oxiderade fatkaraktären. Fantastisk

375mL bottle, pours a clear copper golden with a small white bead. Nose is full of horse blanket, wet dog, leather, and then the wood from the wine barrels enters the scene. Flavour is complex, with all sorts of red and white wine oak barrel character, gentle funk, some leather, and some buttery notes (Chardonnay?). Acidity is fairly low, leaving a great champagne-like effervescence on the finish. Unique stuff. Excellent, though doesn't have the complexity I expected from such a blend.
