Draught at ZBF 2006. Very pale golden colour with a big white head. Malty and slightly grassy aroma. Sweet malty flavor with some grassy notes. Slightly bitter finish.

Draught at ZBF 2006. Dark reddish/blue colour with a pinkish head. Sweet fruity aroma of blueberries.Sweet flavor of blueberries with some bitterness in the aftertaste. Not that bad.

An unclear light orange beer with a nice light orange head. The aroma is sweet and very wheaty, but also with some notes of yeast and oranges. The flavor is sweet with notes of oranges, coriander, peach, and alcohol, leading to a dry wheaty end. It has a nice body. I like the present Hoegaarden Grand Cru better than this.

Draught Purple-pink small head, over fully opaque red-purple beer. Indeed - pure myrtilles (blueberries) concentrated as for a jam. Nothing else. fruity - as in a watered-down jam flavouring agent. Swee-ee-eet. Watery to light. No, it’s not bad. It just isn’t a beer, IMO.

Draught Fully clear shining gold; small, lacy yellowish tinted fine head. Grassy, faint malt nose, and smell of CO². Very dry-grainy taste, like fine preserved barley. Straight, honest & excellent. Light but with grist slickness, refreshing the high residu of restsugars notwithstanding. Good pilsner. More like this ought to be conceived.

Draught Drab olive-orange beer, small but tenacious very white head. Very grainy, corn flakes, honey aroma. Honey-ish, bready and quite malty; grassy finish. Medium bodied, quite slick, quite marked by its carbonation. Amongst the nicest I’ve had so far from Les 3F. I’d be hard pressed, however, to call this impressive.

Draft, In de Wildeman. Hazy yellow color, medium head. Aroma of hop, bit sour, some hay and citrus. Taste is not as banana like as a true belgian white, and the recreation of the Hoegaarden Grand Cru is also not a succesfull description. It is somewhat in between a Grand Cru and a La Chouffe, at least that’s how I would remember this brew.

Draught Good white head, fast gone; hazy grain-yellow, milky colour. Coriander, wheat and citrus nose. Fruity (citrus), wheat and coriander again in the taste, rather sweet. Just a little sourishness from the fruity character. Slick MF, well filled. This serious body is the only thing that betrays the real ABV, as in comparison to an ordinary white. Once, Hoegaarden GC was the ONLY beer I could recognise on any blind tasting. InBev professionaly ruined it, but this, IMO, is not the same neither - it’s more like a super-strenght original Hoegaardse witte on draught.
