Bottle, 7.3%. Aroma of dust and brown sugar. Clear dark brown colour. Ok stable light brown head. The flavour is sweet and peppery with spicy sugars and a metal acidity in the finish. The alcohol is a little hot, but also warming.

On tap at Hops, Crewe. Pours a golden yellow with minimal off-white head. Not much of an aroma – just some hints of straw. In the mouth it is very briefly slightly sweet and juicy at first but very quickly becomes more bitter. Flavour is continental hops, grains and corn with some sharpness creeping in to give quite a harsh finish. A fairly poor effort all round.

Armsby draught, 3/29/26.
Candied fruits, caramelized sugars and light wood with a bit of whiskey spice. Maybe a touch of alcohol. Bit of butterscotch (not diacetyl, but more barrel character). I will admit, there's not as much glue and other crude phenolics as expected, but maybe it's still too cold. Am trying to warm it and let it breathe. Not really getting much more than the aforementioned sweet notes, minor whiskey and some vanilla.
Sweet and appley with peppery carbonation and a strange, husky wood and whiskey character. Some bare caramel just sitting there bluntly. Really rough and unrefined stuff not to mention there aren't any elegant or sumptuous flavors. Too thin and yet somehow too sweet and husky at the same time. Sharp whiskey, more weird apple, ending thin and watery.
Quite a disaster, not that I expected anything less from this shitty brewery.
