A hazy orange beer with next to no head. The aoroma is sweet yeasty and spicy. The flavor is sour with notes of spices, yeast, coriander, and alcohol. An unpleasant beer.

A yellow beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty. The flavor is slightly sour but malty and with notes of straw and a slightly hoppy end. A boring beer.

750 ml Bottle pours a medium clear amber. Large frothy head that calmed down to a thin whit film that is maintained by a a lot of effervessing. Lots of apple cider aroma and a bit yeasty. First sip was exteremely fizzy, overpowered any flavor but the bitter burn. The high carbonation is really getting in the way. The flavor is corky, woody, musty abit flowery and the alcohol is pretty obvious. I've heard of wines reacting with the cork, I wonder if this is a case of that. A bit of a hard cider bitterness lingers. Where is that nice fruity smell in the falvor? I’ll try this again sometime to make sure I didnt get a bad bottle.

Sampled at the Southside Beer Expo. Clody yellow with a fluffy head. Taste is tart and citrusy, more so than one expects from a Belgian.

(draught) Thick yellowish/orange head, leaving lace; (cold) hazy pale amber beer. Spicey nose (pepper, Grains of Paradise?) touch of diacetyl; bit of citrus, ambrée malt obvious. Taste again diacetyl, and quite some too. Burnt malt, even scorched sugar. There is however a fresh, spicey taste overlying, as from mild garden herbs. Cold makes it difficult to assure! Light to medium bodied. Bit metallic aftertaste, not realy disturbing. It’s an OK beer, even the diacetyl is within acceptable limits. But it ain’t a great one. I’d hate to taste this one aged, I’m afraid. Still, for Huyghe... (there's no more real brewing at de Halve Maan)

Bottle: Poured a yellowish beer with a nice bubbly head that disappeared a bit too quickly. Aroma is quite stranger with some sweetness from fruit coming out but also some kind of malts. Taste is very sweet with all the fruit coming out at first and then that very weird malt taste hitting you and left me bewildered. Overall, I feel this is not as bad as some of the previous review but again not a world class fruit beer.

A hazy orange beer with a beutiful white head. The aroma is of peach, pineapple, and berries - what is ninkeberries? The flavor is sweet - like a ninkeberry-sodapop. The body is thin and this combined with the high sweetness makes me feel, this is more a soda, than a beer.

Deep brown body. Brownish frothy head, mostly diminishing. Aroma of some kind of cleaning-product, I think "Mr. Propre Wood-fresh". Lightly sweet, lightly bitter initial flavour. Lightly sweet finish. Good flavour, but nasty aroma.
